Stephen Leitch - E-Commerce Director

Scottish born Stephen Leitch became interested in technology at a very young age and had his first business at the age of 16; a small home-based computer repair store.
Stephen has a BA degree from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland and a Master’s of Science from Purdue University in Indiana. While at Purdue Stephen taught a number of classes and was involved in numerous technology projects including the first International Hospitality and Tourism Virtual Conference. Although Stephen’s passion is for E-commerce and IT, he has many years of experience in hospitality and business management which he enjoys folding into the online customer experience. He has held positions including General Manager for Marshall Fields, Professor for The Art Institute of Pittsburg, Adjunct Professor at Kendall College and the Director of Operations and Support Services for Entertaining Company in Chicago. In 2009 Stephen started his own E-commerce consulting firm and has since joined Music Factory Direct in an E-commerce role. Stephen enjoys playing piano and attending trade shows. He was most recently a speaker on mobile commerce at the Internet Retailer 2010 in Chicago and is speaking at the internet Retailer in February and aspdotnetstorefront in Spring 2011. |
