Prodipe RSL Ribbon Stereo Microphone

Introducing the all new Prodipe Ludovic Lanen Ribbon Stereo Microphone (R.S.L.). Using the famous microphones of the 1960’s as a starting point, Prodipe have created a new generation of ultra-tough ribbon mics that because of their “directivity in 8” are capable of recording in stereo and simultaneous allows you to pick up the mood of the room from behind and almost completely isolate any sources that are on either side of the microphone. The high speed of response is obtained from the lightweight nature of a ribbon that comprises 2.8 micron width aluminum. The RSL respects the timbre of each instrument and allows for a very natural reproduction of their respective sounds and has the ability to manage very high sound levels (for example, guitar amplifier at full blast). High-pitched sounds are never aggressive (brass, metal percussion), even if the pickup is nearby and with the “directivity in 8” you can capture the atmosphere of the room from behind and almost completely isolate any sources that are on either side of the mic.
