• Music Factory Direct (MFD) is a fairly new company that was created by Dennis Bamber, former founder and owner of Woodwind and Brasswind, in South Bend, Indiana. Even though we are not a large company, the seven of us here offer over 100 years of passionate experience in the music business. Is this cheaper than renting from my child’s school?

• Yes it is, by far! When you rent from a school, you can sometimes pay as much as 300% more in rental fees than if you were to just buy the instrument outright. Not only that, but our prices are so low, some instruments can be purchased outright for a fraction of just one year's payment on a rental instrument!

How much is shipping?

• We offer free ground shipping to the 48 contiguous United States on most orders over $25. For all other destinations you will be able to select your shipping options at check out. Faster shipping is available and is a simple click away at checkout.

Can I return the item?

• Sure thing! We offer a 30 day return with full refund on all products. Many items also come with a 1 or 2 year warranty, so please check the individual listings for details. What Do I Do If My Order Is Damaged?

• Carefully inspect your UPS package for visible shipping damage when you receive it. Notify UPS immediately at 1-800-742-5877. Have your shipping label with the tracking number with you when you call. All claims must be initiated by you, the customer. Keep all original packaging, This is very important. . UPS will usually pick up the item and packaging for inspection. After contacting UPS, please contact us so we’re aware of the situation. You can also ask for a replacement to be sent at that time.
