The body is made of patented resonite fusion, a 21 century composite compound selected for its Maple wood sound quality, intonation, response, ease of maintenance and durability. With our compound there is no loss in sound over Maple, plus there is no reason to ever worry about cracking. You will likely find it to be richer and have less troublesome register changes than wood. The bottom boot cap is removable to allow a water key to empty excess moisture in the boot.
