Oud, Egyptian, Classic 11 String. This oud has the classic tear-drop shape. The bowl and neck stave construction is accented with alternating dark and light hard woods. It is traditionally played with 11 strings, but may come strung with 12. You can remove the 12th lowest string. The three round sound holes have decorative rosette inserts and are trimmed with faux mother of pearl inlay. The soundboard has a light finish. There are eleven strings. The bridge is fixed. The nut to bridge measures approximately 23.6 inches, 600 mm. This is a beautiful instrument. Over all dimensions are approximately 31.5 x 14 x 7.5 inches. Includes hard case and pick.
