Yamaha 13" x 6.5" Oak Gloss Black Shell Snare Drum

Featuring a 13 x 6.5 inch all Oak shell, the Musashi has lots of "crack" but still has plenty of warmth. You can tune it high and tight or back it down to make this one of the most versatile drums on the market. The Oak shell is bright but the 6.5" depth gives it lots of body. This drum works well as a secondary side snare or as your main snare drum in virtually any musical situation. Manufactured using our exclusive air-seal system, the shell vibrates freely for better resonance and it will stay round in any climate. The snare beds are cut at 2.7mm so that the snares will lay flat across the snare head and reducing the tendency to vibrate when you play your bass drum and toms. The B-type strainer and butt are designed to mount with minimal contact to allow the drum to resonate and give you better response and sensitivity.
