We applied our new metal shell manufacturing process to an all-new Steel shell to create a drum with a bright tone that really cuts thru. Steel shells have the brightest tone of our metal shell snare drums. The SD-2355 is a versatile drum that you can tune down for a fat sound or crank it up to make your backbeat pop. One-piece lugs allow high tension and added strength. The B type strainer is a classic design that's simple and reliable. Triple flanged steel hoops give you a wide tuning range and allow the drum to open up even under higher tension.
