Yamaha 14" x 6.5" Aluminum Snare Drum

We applied our new metal shell manufacturing process to an all-new Aluminum shell to create a drum that's warm, dry and very responsive at all dynamic ranges. Aluminum is lightweight, yet strong with a warm, dry tone that works both live and in the studio. The detachable strainer and butt allow you to remove the snare wires for snare side head changes and re-attach them quickly with a single drum key screw. There is a tension indicator so that you can easily adjust your snares to the same tension when changing snare wires. The 2.3mm thick triple flange Dyna Hoops are strong, giving you precise tuning yet they allow the drum to open up.
