For the price, this is a very good low C bass clarinet. It appears to be well constructed and I was able to play it but it needs some tweaking by a good repair tech to realize its full potential. The case is functional but not constructed of the best materials. It bulges out on the end with the handle and it's big, heavy, and bulky. The peg screw in the bell has a tendency to come about half way out, and some of the keys are not totally smooth, but I can live with that. It's definitely not a Selmer or a Buffet, but at a fraction of the cost, it's a very good horn for the serious student or doubler.
