The configuration of the Hans Hoyer G10 is based on an original design by Carl Geyer, who at the age of 15 apprenticed as an instrument maker in Markneukirchen, Germany where the Brand Meister Hans Hoyer is still being made today. In 1903 Geyer brought his fine German craftsmanship to the United States and soon became the premier master horn builder in the US. This Professional Double French Horn is equipped with string linkages on both ends of the valve connecting arm to provide the ultimate in smooth and quiet operation. A corrosion safe gold brass lead pipe will provide years of trouble free maintenance. A three dimensional adjustable finger hook and adjustable thumb lever allows the player to customize the set up to fit their hands. Beautiful engraving on the valve caps add a touch of class to the already handsome horn. This Professional Double French Horn is finished in clear lacquered and ships in a lightweight soft case.
