This design boasts an amazing 600ms of delay time with optional modulation via a top-mounted switch and a simple, three-knob layout that controls Delay time, Mix (dry/wet blend), and Regen (delay repeats)-all in a pedal no bigger than a Phase 90. In addition, the M169 pedal has two internal trim pots that offer user-adjustable width and rate control of the modulation for even more tonal options. The Carbon Copy effect pedal will take you from crisp "bathroom" slap echoes to epic, Gilmour-esque delays with a twist of a knob. True hardwire bypass, single 9-volt operation, and stage-ready blue LEDs round out the package.

Great pedal!!! I have been Playing guitar for over 15 years. I have always loved a delay sound but could never really duplicate the sounds that I wanted to hear from my favorite bands. I have used a rack delay, the boss dd3, the boss dd6 and the line 6 dl4. The only one that even comes close is the Dl4, which is a great pedal in its own right, but for different reasons. The Carbon Copy is warm and has hands down the best delay sound I have ever heard. I play three main electric guitars... An american deluxe stratocaster (ash), an American standard Telecaster, and An Epiphone Les Paul through a Fender Deville amp. When I first plugged up and started to play my girlfriend, who usually views my guitar playing as a mild annoyance, came into the room asking what are you playing?? It sounds awesome.. I said Im playing a song i wrote years ago that you weren't so impressed with when i played it last week. It just sounds that good. It goes from a mild echo sound to a full sound storm when all the dials are at max. For any price this is a great pedal, but for what MFD is selling it for, it's a steal!!!
